- Beth & Jeff Iverson, Proprietors
- Indigo Blu, Humble BnB Mascot
Proprietors Beth and Jeff Iverson are not strangers to the Wisconsin area having traveled and vacationed here for many years. We moved to Lake Geneva from IL to realize a lifelong dream of owning and operating a Bed & Breakfast and felt that Lake Geneva has so much to offer its’ visitors. Having spent the majority of our careers in customer service in both retail, restaurant and lodging industries, we feel that we have a great understanding for what our guests need and want and will go out of our way to provide the best experience without being intrusive.
We fell in love with this charming Victorian Farmhouse built in 1880 situated in the Historical Maple Park surrounded by many beautiful homes of that era. It allowed us to put our own unique stamp on it, yet pay tribute to its’ history. Just a short walk away are all the amenities that one could want, all without ever having to find a parking place and yet, just a five minute drive out of town and you are surrounded by stunning rural areas. It seems to offer the best of both worlds and is a short distance from both Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison that makes a weekend away seem like a real vacation.
We have been collecting antiques and fun memorabilia for years and feel we have a unique style all our own that creates warmth and interest without being crowded or stuffy. We intend to be an ever-evolving "work in progress" to improve upon what is already here. We chose the name Humble BnB to signify that although we give excellent customer service there are no pretenses here. We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do. We have movies, books, games and a great backyard to enjoy. With a playground and tennis court right down at the end of our block we feel we have something for every age bracket.
Come enjoy "home away from home."
Indigo Blu, the newest staff member, is a 62 lb. Blue Merle Aussie with 1 golden brown and 1 sky blue eye. Sweet and loyal, this boy loves to cuddle. He can be shy at first, but once he warms up, you'll have a best friend for life. While still new the the Bed and Breakfast life, he is starting to show more energy, personality and playfulness.
We are so excited to be able to give him a loving home and share him with all of you!
Adopted in March of 2021, at approximately 5 years old. He was found abandoned on an empty property in Tennessee and was rescued by an aussie rescue, here in Wisconsin.
